Rehearsal MP3 Player, provided by BabyPaunch, lets you listen to and repeat sections of MP3 files you choose. It does not require registration or sign-in. Music files and edit settings are not uploaded to a developer-operated server.
Music and settings stored on your device
MP3 files you add, waveform summaries, and section and fade settings remain in the app's local storage. On Android, the app makes an internal copy of a selected MP3 so playback can continue while the screen is locked. The app does not read music files you have not selected.
Exporting and sharing files
When you save or share an edited MP3, Android sends the file to the app or location you select in the share sheet. The selected app or service handles the file under its own policy after that. In the web version, an edited copy is saved to the download location you choose.
Advertising and privacy choices
The Android app uses a Google AdMob bottom banner. For ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device identifiers such as the advertising ID. See the Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure and Google Privacy Policy for details.
Starting with Android app version 1.1.1, the app asks for a date of birth before starting ads. It does not store the date of birth or send it to a server. It stores only whether the user is at least 18 on the device. For users under 18 or those who skip the question, the app does not start the ad consent flow or request ads. If the question is skipped, it appears again on the next launch.
For users at least 18, the Google User Messaging Platform displays a consent form where required. The app requests a banner only when the consent status permits ad requests. When privacy options are required, open the policy with the shield button in the app header and use the ad privacy choices button to review or change your choice. The web version does not include this Android ads SDK.
Information not directly collected and permissions
The developer does not directly collect or sell your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, music files, or edit settings. There is no account, developer analytics, or music-upload server. Google's policies apply to information Google processes for ads.
The Android app uses internet permission for ads and consent checks, and a media playback service and wake lock to play audio while the screen is locked. It does not request permission for contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, or broad file storage access. The app does not allow cleartext network traffic.
Retention and deletion
Removing a song from the app deletes its internal copy and edit settings. Clearing the app's data in Android settings or uninstalling it removes the remaining local data. Your original MP3 and separately exported edited copies stay where you saved them and must be deleted there. The developer has no server account or uploaded music to delete. Google's policies and your device's advertising privacy settings govern retention and deletion of information processed for ads.
Children's privacy
Rehearsal MP3 Player is not designed primarily for children. The app does not request ads for users under 18. Parents or guardians can manage app data and advertising privacy settings on the device.
Changes to this policy
If app features, the ads SDK, or data processing change, we will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety information to match actual behavior. See the BabyPaunch website privacy policy for information processed when you visit this policy page.
