Art Of Jigsaw Single-player Privacy Policy

This describes sign-in, images, and storage in the web single-player and Windows LÖVE editions. Local execution still uses the internet for authentication, piece generation, and artwork searches.

Scope and co-op edition

This policy covers the Art Of Jigsaw web single-player and original or adaptive Windows LÖVE editions. Battle Gate co-op rooms and shared photos are covered by the Battle Gate AOJ co-op policy. Selecting a personal photo in single-player does not by itself share it with a co-op room.

Sign-in and server requests

Google sign-in and BabyPaunch Account (auth.babypaunch.com) verify your account. The game does not receive your Google password. See the BabyPaunch Account policy for account processing. Access Gate (gate.babypaunch.com) receives an authentication token and puzzle parameters such as grid and image dimensions and returns piece paths from Logic Hub. Single-player personal image files are not included in this generation request.

Information stored on your device

Game copies of selected personal photos, imported artwork and previews, image lists, puzzle progress, scores, language preferences, and sign-in state are stored on your device. PC editions use the LÖVE user save directory; the web edition uses browser storage. Original PC, adaptive comparison, web, and co-op storage may be separate. Authentication tokens are stored, so sign out and remove saved data on shared devices.

Artwork, external services, and access logs

Met searches may send search terms and request information to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Image requests may pass through Access Gate. Authentication, hosting, and proxy services may retain access logs including IP addresses, paths, times, and errors. The game code has no advertising SDK, payments, or behavioral analytics SDK. Shared parts of the BabyPaunch hosting website follow the separate website policy.

Retention and deletion

In-game image deletion, new puzzle, and completion actions can remove associated images or progress. To remove all local data, close the app and delete its LÖVE user save directory or the browser site storage. Deleting web or PC data does not automatically delete data on other devices or the account server. For BabyPaunch Account deletion, follow the shared account policy.
