Battle Gate is a game access service operated by BabyPaunch. This policy covers the Art Of Jigsaw co-op mode offered through Battle Gate. The separate Art Of Jigsaw single-player mode and BabyPaunch Account handle information differently from the co-op rooms and photo sharing described here.
Information processed and why
We use the account identifier, name, and email address returned by Google sign-in to identify your account and sign you in. We do not receive or store your Google password. Login sessions are stored as hashes of random tokens with expiration times.
When you create or join a co-op room, we store the room title, participants' account identifiers and names, connection times, puzzle settings, and board progress. Participants can see the title, names, and progress in the same room. An invitation code lets you invite others to join.
If the host chooses a personal photo, the browser converts it to PNG and uploads it to Battle Gate. The server checks the image, removes its metadata, and stores it so members of that room can view it. Personal photos are not uploaded through this feature unless the host chooses to share one.
Other services and transfers
Google handles sign-in under the Google Privacy Policy. If you search for public artwork, your search terms and request information may be sent to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Artwork image requests may pass through BabyPaunch Access Gate.
BabyPaunch Logic Hub generates puzzle piece paths. It receives puzzle dimensions, image dimensions, and a generation value, but not your shared photo file or Google account information. Battle Gate has no advertising or payment features.
Retention and security
We keep account information while you use the service. Login sessions expire seven days after they are issued or renewed. We remove a room and its shared photo about five minutes after nobody remains connected. If deleting a photo file temporarily fails, we keep a deletion record and retry.
The production service transfers data over HTTPS and uses HttpOnly and Secure attributes on login cookies. Server and proxy access logs used for operation and security may contain IP addresses, request paths, times, and error details. Backups and access logs may be kept for the period needed for service operation and security.
Account and data deletion
If you can sign in to Battle Gate, you can delete your account from the account page. Deletion removes your account, sessions, admission records, participation records, rooms you own, and their shared photos from service data. Puzzle progress in rooms owned by someone else remains, while your participation records are removed.
If you uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, you can still request Battle Gate account deletion at [email protected]. After verifying your identity, we will explain the scope and result. Do not email your password, authentication token, or original photos. Backups or access logs needed for security or legal reasons may be excluded from deletion; we will explain any such scope when handling your request.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy to reflect changes to sign-in, connected games, or information processing.
